Do you find yourself experiencing unwanted pain during sexual activity?

Do you find it difficult to re-engage with sex after life transitions such as having a baby or menopause?

Do you find the intimate connection with your partner lacking the fire that it used to?

Do you find that your sexual interests cause embarrassment or shame?

Do you find that you don’t have a space to talk about exploration of your sexual orientation, sexual desires, gender identity, or relationship structure?

You are not alone.

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, Lux Counselling may be the place for you.

I am a Sexologist, Certified Sex Therapist with the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists, and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide confidential, professional, warm, and evidence-based sex therapy. I have advanced training and certification in working with humans experiencing genito-pelvic pain, perinatal sexuality and mood disorders, and erotically marginalised communities.

During our sex therapy sessions, we will delve into a variety of topics encompassing sexual desire, arousal, communication, and relationship dynamics. It is my goal to empower you with knowledge and techniques that can rejuvenate and revitalise your intimacy, while fostering open and honest communication within your relationship, whether that’s with a partner or yourself.

I ensure a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals and relational systems belonging to all gender expressions and identities, as well as all sexual and relationship identities: from monogamous to polyamorous, vanilla to kinky.

My approach to therapy embodies openness, respect, curiosity, accountability to power, and a sprinkling of humour and terrible metaphors.
